From a foundation of academic research at Cambridge, York, and Princeton, in 2007 Drew moved into the world of tech research, leading a group at Microsoft Research Cambridge, before moving to Google DeepMind in 2015.

Tallulah co-leads the International High School Clean Energy Investment Coalition, a group of 150+ students collaborating with schools to invest their endowments (financial reserves held by some schools) in sustainable assets. In practice, this looks like prolonged communications between school administrations and the student bodies. “Investing sustainably” can consist of investing in renewable energy funds, divesting from high-emitting assets, using ESG metrics to select investments, and more.

As a co-lead for the coalition, Tallulah helps students from other schools in their clean energy investment process, bringing new schools on and overseeing strategy for how we can further clean energy investment education for young people!

Emma worked in the public and private sector before moving to the UK Government delivery body and then the charity, WRAP, where she headed up the ‘Love Food Hate Waste’ campaign. In 2016, Emma joined the RSPB as Regional Director in the Midlands, and then England Director. She now leads the Digital Technology and Communications directorate where she ensures the charity makes the biggest possible difference for nature and people across these functions.

Emma is a fellow of the RSA and has transformed the RSPB’s communications, leading award-winning campaigns such as Urgent Conversation, Attack on Nature and Save Our Wild Isles (the latter in collaboration with WWF and The National Trust) as well as leading the team behind the incredible award winning #BirdoftheWeek TikTok channel.

Through Another Way, she has planted over 32 000 trees in Cumbria, has given talks and awareness sessions on climate change, plastic pollution and sustainable living to over 14,000 people from schools, community groups, businesses and international events, inspiring pledges of behavioural change; organises community events such as talks with world-renowned scientists and has created numerous resources and certifications to empower people to live more kindly towards our planet.

Another Way’s two zero-waste shops in Cumbria enable the local community to reduce their plastic use and their new Power of 10 movement is the first digital community for young changemakers, empowering them to take action.

Francesca Busca, eco-artivist and mosaicist, transforms waste into sustainable artworks to protest a disposable lifestyle and inspire systemic re-thinking. Founder of ArtforTrash (made with the clients’ waste) and Payment in Kind(ness), she also engages in pro bono projects and collaboration, aiming to spark maximum engagement with minimum impact.

Ex-City solicitor, then graduate and former lecturer at the London School of Mosaic, she is currently on retainer with the Institute of Marine Sciences in Venice and teaches eco-artivism at the Italian School in London. Striving to live sustainably in every aspect of her life, she also donates 10% of her ArtforTrash income to ecological causes.
